## **COMMON TO WELL-BEING**

**The Well-Being Factory** helps kindergartens, schools, educational venues, businesses, associations, and other communities create **increased well-being, resilience**, and **healthy life habits** for children, adolescents, and adults. We use FRIENDS Resilience© — a well-documented holistic program bluestamped by WHO, which we have adapted to Danish conditions.

We are official partners with FRIENDS Resilience in Australia.

**Together, we can strengthen mental well-being where people come together—through open dialogue and resilience. **

**What are we doing? ** We make research knowledge about well-being, community and resilience easy to understand and use in practice. Because we believe that we learn best together and come the furthest when we support each other in applying what we learn in everyday life.

That is why we offer courses and certification to teachers, educators and other professionals so that they can work concretely with well-being in their communities. In this way, they share a common language about well-being and resilience with the children, adolescents and adults they share everyday life with.

Just as we offer the program as a common language and foundation for anchoring team building and personal development.

**Why do we do this? ** Because we believe prevention is paramount — and because we can all be a resource for each other when we share this common language and foundation, both in everyday life and when things get tough.

When everyday challenges grow large and lead to distrust, stress, anxiety or loneliness, strong communities and personal resilience make a huge difference. It benefits both people and the economy.

**STRONG NOT TOUGH© — Personal development with an imprint in everyday life**

**An approach with everyday life at the center**\
The course is based on the participants' own experiences and everyday situations and translates theory and tools into workable strategies — focusing on what makes sense in their lives and contexts. \
STRONG Not Tough can be used both preventively and invigorating and helps to create more profit, clarity and calmness — in everyday life and in the community.

**Strong Not Tough** is a research-based course in personal development, which gives you a solid toolbox to stand stronger -- both in yourself and in your relationships. You will learn to understand and navigate your thoughts, feelings and reaction patterns, and how to respond more consciously and balanced in the face of adversity, pressure and change.

The course builds on the proven principles of the FRIENDS Resilience© program and draws strength from psychology, neuroscience and practice-oriented learning. It is for you who would like to build greater mental surplus, strengthen your inner calm and get concrete strategies to act with direction, presence and thoughtfulness.

STRONG Not Tough invites a new way of seeing strength—as something that can accommodate sensitivity, adversity and change.

It's not about dealing with everything alone or biting your teeth together, it's about finding strength in being sensitive and open, and engaging in mutually supportive communities. It is perfectly okay to be overthrown — and the important thing is that you can rise again with dignity, support from others and focus on solutions that create new opportunities.

You will learn to meet yourself and others with greater inclusiveness, curiosity and recognition — and to act with dignity, responsiveness and inner strength, even when the pressure rises. You are reminded of gratitude, the difference between empathy and sympathy in practice, and the joy of being something to your surroundings.

The programme not only strengthens individuals' self-awareness and drive for action, but also builds shared reflection, mutual support and a healthy, safe learning environment — both in working and study communities.
